Emi was born in the year 1986, 3rd of February in Latvia; She started singing at the age of 5 and got her first artistic prize. She became lead vocalist for the Jumpravas children musical group at the age of six and a member of the Latvian Folk Dance Group JUMPRAVINA . Emi won The CALIS singing contest two years in a row at a this very young age. After she finally graduated Jumpravas music school in the year 2001 with various other local performances. Then moved to Riga to further her secondary school education and artistic career. In Riga she meet her Mentor, who guided her into the world of Show business in Latvia. Emi started vocal and contemporary dance lessons and things took of from then on.

Various live and dance performances in Latvian clubs.
Contested at the “Eurovision song contest 2004” with group Sister Act and were voted the best stage performance of the year.
Preformed at the Caines Beach Party 2004.
Performed at the Coca Cola HBC party in Riga. 2005
Released the joint album REVOLUTION with two local artists under the labels of BRG (Baltic Record Group) and ONYX RECORDS. 2005
Won the award at the Latvian Music Awards for the best dance album 2005.
Now Emi has gone solo and is currently working, recording new songs and working with known producers in UK.
Reliesed a song “Kā Sapnī” and shot a video wich was played on MTV Latvia.
CONCLUSION
Emi writes the music and lyrics to her songs and she has mastered modern dance, “Groove dance” which is a mixture of all contemporary dance steps. She is very hardworking and very positive. Ever since she was a little girl, she has always dreamed of become a professional singer and dancer. Has this dream come true? Yes to some extent, but she still believes more could be accomplished. Like Emi Says: “ Life has thought me to be persistent and to focus on the goal. I was born for the purpose of making the people happy. I was born to be on stage. I have a gift from God (The Big guy upstairs), I am doing what my heart wants and I love, because he loves me ”.
